
The Jets have agreed to terms of a trade with the Colts and will acquire WR Adonai Mitchell, a 2026 first-round pick and a 2027 first-round pick in exchange for CB Sauce Gardner, pending physicals.
Mitchell (6-2, 205), a second-year pro who played collegiately for Texas and Georgia, has appeared in all eight games for the Colts this season and has 9 receptions. A second-round pick (No. 52 overall) by Indianapolis in 2024, Mitchell appeared in 25 games with eight starts, recording 32 receptions for 464 yards.
Gardner appeared in seven games for the Green & White this season and recorded 20 tackles and 6 pass defenses. The two-time All-Pro, a Cincinnati product who was selected No. 4 overall by the Jets in 2022, appeared in 55 games for the Green & White and had 201 total tackles, 46 pass defenses and 3 INTs.
