Jets Claim TE Clive Walford

Third-Year Veteran Played in 44 Games, Tallied 768 Yards for the Raiders

The Jets acquired tight end Clive Walford on waivers.

Walford was released by the Raiders on March 27 after spending the first three seasons of his career in Oakland. The University of Miami product has totaled 768 yards and six touchdowns on 70 receptions. A 2015 third-round pick (68th overall), Walford has played in 44 games, 10 of which he's started.

The 6'4", 250-pounder played four years for the Hurricanes and racked up 121 receptions for 1,753 yards and 14 touchdowns. Walford earned third-team All-America honors his senior year in 2015 and was a Mackey Award finalist.
