The Jets have signed RB Brandon Wilds to their practice squad and terminated the contract of RB Dominique Williams.

Wilds, who rushed for 1,844 yards and 13 touchdowns at South Carolina, originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the Atlanta Falcons on April 30.  He led the Falcons during preseason play with 86 rush yards while averaging 4.1 yards per carry and he added two touchdowns on the ground.  The 6'0", 220-pounder was among the Falcons' final roster cuts.

Williams was signed to a reserve/future contract by the Jets in January after stretches with the Vikings and Cardinals in 2014 and '15. He saw action in the preseason opener against Jacksonville and had three carries for 17 yards.
