The Jets made a pair of roster moves Wednesday, activating DB Dee Milliner from short-term injured reserve and placing veteran G Willie Colon on injured reserve.

Milliner, an Alabama product who was selected No. 9 overall in the 2013 NFL Draft, has registered three INT and 21 PD in 16 career games. The 5'11", 201-pounder underwent wrist surgery in August and missed the team's first eight contests. Head coach Todd Bowles indicated Milliner will stay at cornerback as the Jets could be without the services of No. 2 CB Antonio Cromartie. If Cromartie (deep quad bruise) can't play, it is expected either Buster Skrine or Marcus Williams will start on the outside.

Colon, who has been bothered by a knee injury, started six games at RG this season and has appeared in 100 contests for his career. He will be replaced in the lineup by Brian Winters.

The Jets will start the second half of their season Thursday as they'll host the Buffalo Bills at MetLife Stadium. Later this afternoon, the team will release its final injury report.
