The Jets have signed veteran WR-KR Andre Roberts.

In 16 games with Atlanta last season, Roberts averaged 22.6 yards on 38 kickoff returns and 7.4 yards on 27 punt returns. With Detroit in 2016, Roberts averaged 12.3 yards per punt return and had two return touchdowns.

A third-round pick of the Cardinals in the 2010 NFL Draft, Roberts appeared in 62 games while making 35 starts at receiver in the desert.  He had 182 receptions for Arizona from 2010-14, amassing 2,123 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. The 5'11", 195-pound Roberts then signed as a free agent with Washington, posting 47 receptions in 2014-15 and averaging 7.4 yards per punt return and 25.4 yards per kickoff return.

Over eight NFL seasons, Roberts has averaged 8.1 yards per punt return and 23.4 yards per kickoff return. The Citadel product's career offensive numbers include 244 receptions, 2,911 yards and 11 receiving scores.
