LB Jacquies Smith Signed to Practice Squad

The New York Jets have signed linebacker Jacquies Smith to the practice squad. The announcement was made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum.

Smith (6'2", 260) entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Miami on May 14. He appeared in the preseason with the Dolphins before being waived on Aug. 25. In four seasons at Missouri, Smith recorded 74 tackles and 10.5 sacks.
