The Jets have re-signed OLB Corey Lemonier.
Claimed off of waivers from Detroit on Dec. 26, Lemonier played in the Jets Week 17 win over the Bills. He also spent time with Cleveland and Detroit last season, totaling nine tackles, two sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
The 6'3", 255-pound Lemonier, an Auburn product who was a third-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers in 2013, has appeared in 51 career games and collected 35 defensive tackles, three sacks and two fumble recoveries. Earlier Thursday evening, the Green & White also announced the re-signing of OLB Josh Martin.
