The Jets head into this afternoon's Game 14 against the Houston Texans at MetLife Stadium with an officially refashioned running back depth chart behind rookie starting QB Sam Darnold.

With Bilal Powell placed on Injured Reserve in October and Isaiah Crowell going on IR this week with his toe injury, the RBs that will attack the Texans are Elijah McGuire, rookie Trenton Cannon and De'Angelo Henderson, signed off the practice squad for the second time this season.

All three have been cleared and are active to play today. McGuire (ankle) began the week as a practice DNP but was limited Wednesday and was full-go Thursday. Cannon was limited the last two practices and listed by head coach Todd Bowles as questionable for this game but he will be in uniform and ready to go as well.

Cornerback also came out of the comeback win over Buffalo a little sore, but Morris Claiborne (shoulder/neck) and Buster Skrine (shoulder) practiced all week and Trumaine Johnson, who has three interceptions in the last two games, is active as well after appearing on Thursday's report as limited with a foot injury and being listed as questionable.

Two other injury concerns during the week were at LB, but Jordan Jenkins (shoulder/ankle) and LB Kevin Pierre-Louis, who had a blocked punt at Tennessee and a strip sack at Buffalo, both listed as questionable, are both in uniform today.

Two other players on last week's inactive list are active: third QB Davis Webb and DL Bronson Kaufusi.

The Jets' seven-player inactive list:

  • WR Deontay Burnett
  • CB Derrick Jones
  • DB Jeremy Clark
  • LB Jeremiah Attaochu
  • OL Ben Braden
  • WR Quincy Enunwa
  • DL Folorunso Fatukasi

And the Texans' inactives are:

  • WR Keke Coutee
  • WR Vyncint Smith
  • RB D'Onta Foreman
  • CB Deante Burton
  • T Roderick Johnson
  • DE Carlos Watkins
  • DE Joel Heath

The Jets are wearing their green jerseys and white pants for today's rare Saturday game. In 19 previous games in green/white under Bowles since 2015, the Jets are 8-11.

Brad Allen is refereeing his eighth Jets game and his sixth at MetLife Stadium since 2014.
