DT Finau Signed to Practice Squad

The New York Jets have signed defensive tackle Tevita Finau to the practice squad. The announcement was made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum. Finau (6'5", 288) entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Philadelphia on June 22, but the Eagles waived him almost a month later. He joined Dallas' practice squad on Nov. 14 but was released on Nov. 27. As a senior at Utah, Finau played in 13 games and recorded 37 tackles, including five for loss and three sacks.
