The Jets have waived quarterback Brandon Silvers.
Silvers signed with the Green & White on April 10 after playing for the Memphis Express of the AAF. The 6'3", 219-pounder started three games for the Express and threw for 777 yards, four touchdowns and one interception.
The Troy University product had a productive collegiate career as he threw for 10,677 yards, 71 touchdowns and 29 interceptions in four years.
There are now four quarterbacks on the Jets' roster — Sam Darnold, Trevor Siemian, Davis Webb and Luke Falk, who was acquired on waivers Friday.
