This is one in a series of articles that will also appear in the New York Jets 2025 Yearbook, which will be published later this summer.
The Green & White faithful remained one of the best and most loyal fan bases in the NFL during the 2024 season, and the fans have plenty to look forward in 2025.
Over their eight home games, three of which were played in primetime, at MetLife Stadium last season, the Jets unofficially drew an average attendance of 78,918, second-most in the league.
The Jets will look to ride that momentum into the season ahead. The schedule features eight games at MetLife Stadium and one other home game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London against Denver.
"I know everybody around here is very excited about what this team can do and so am I," QB Justin Fields said. "We really just need to get to work on the field."
Head coach Aaron Glenn's message to the fans: "Put your seat belts on because it's going to be a fun ride."
Following the NFL season, the Jets' home field next June and July will be the home for eight matches in the 2026 World Cup, including the Finals on July 13. That game will conclude the largest World Cup in the famed soccer tournament's history — 48 teams and 104 matches.
The World Cup notwithstanding, Jets fans will continue to make noise in support of their team at home and abroad when they set sail on the Jets Fan Cruise.
The five-night cruise, in partnership with Seaside Events, will depart New York City on July 9 and set sail for Bermuda before returning to New York. Cruise passengers will get to connect with several Jets legends, including DT Marty Lyons, RB/KR Leon Washington and WR Wesley Walker, and participate in multiple Jets-themed fan experiences such as group dinners with those Jets legends, a beach party, and sports trivia competitions.
"We hope to develop a fun and unique adventure for our fans and celebrate the legacy of the Jets family," Jets Vice President Jeff Fernandez said. "Creating unforgettable memories and connecting fans with legendary Jets players will undoubtedly be a once-in-a-lifetime experience."
From London to Bermuda to hosting World (Cup) visitors back in North Jersey, the Jets and their fans will have front-row seats for international entertainment deep into the 2026 calendar.
