The Jets currently have the No. 7 pick in the 2025 draft prior to the conclusion of the 2024-25 season. Below is a compilation of mock drafts. The views expressed are not representative of any Jets personnel.
No. 7: OT/G Will Campbell – LSU
"Despite drafting Penn State tackle Olu Fashanu with the No. 11 pick last year, the Jets could still use help in the trenches. Starting tackles Tyron Smith and Morgan Moses are free agents, which would allow Campbell to team up with Fashanu. There are questions about Campbell's shorter arms -- I've been told scouts measured them under 33 inches this past summer -- but his quick feet and understanding of angles served him well as a three-year starter. New York could try Campbell at tackle first, where he has the tools to be an impact starter, and then shift him to guard if necessary. Regardless, he gives the Jets another young, talented offensive lineman to build around."
No. 7: RB Ashton Jeanty – Boise State
"The analytics community won't like this pick, but so be it. The Jets have a stagnant attack, and Breece Hall has not reached 1,000 yards rushing in any of his three seasons. Jeanty provides instant adrenaline to the offense and creates buzz in Aaron Glenn's first season as head coach."

No. 7: WR Tetairoa McMillan – Arizona
"Tetairoa McMillan is 6-foot-5, but he moves like a shifty slot receiver with the benefit of an enormous catch radius and the ability to make contested catches look easy. Think Drake London but a better athlete."
No. 7: CB Will Johnson – Michigan
"With Aaron Glenn now leading the Jets, Gang Green's defensive identity isn't going anywhere. In Detroit, Glenn deployed the highest rate of Cover 1 in 2024, emphasizing cornerbacks who excel in man coverage. Johnson's combination of size and understanding of leverage made him highly effective in those situations. He earned a 90.8 PFF grade in man coverage in 2022 and 2023 before battling injuries in 2024. With D.J. Reed set to hit free agency, finding a cornerback to pair with Sauce Gardner will be a top priority for New York."
No. 7: CB Will Johnson – Michigan
"D.J. Reed is slated to hit free agency. The Lions placed an emphasis on upgrading the secondary over the past two years because Aaron Glenn wanted to play a physical brand of football. By pairing Sauce Gardner and Will Johnson Jr. together, he is bringing that same philosophy to the Big Apple."
No. 7: QB Shedeur Sanders – Colorado
"I'm not buying the "Sanders at No. 1" talk, and I thought about sliding him down further (to the Steelers?), but then I remembered the Jets don't really have a QB. Maybe it doesn't happen, but this pairing would be ... interesting."
