Jets Shop is about to go Mad!
Beginning Saturday at 10 a.m., after weeks of feverish preparation, Jets Shop Madison Avenue will open the doors to its new midtown Manhattan store, located at 437 Madison Ave. and 50th Street.
Jets Shop, the Official Team Store, is a 1,000-square-foot emporium of everything for every Jets fan. Jets Shop is loaded with authentic and replica jerseys of all your favorite players, the latest sideline gear, hats in every style, women's gear, children's gear and all the latest collectibles.
The New York Jets 50 Seasons and the AFL 50 Seasons Titans of New York collections will also make their debuts at the Jets Shop Madison Avenue opening.
"This is an exciting time for Jets fans," said Chris Pierce, the team's senior director of merchandising. "Opening this store will give our fans a place to call home every day of the year. Filled to the brim with the latest and greatest Jets gear, our fans will find everything they need and more."
And Jets Shop Madison Avenue will be more than just a store. It will be a meeting place.
"We will be hosting player, alumni and coach appearances at Jets Shop throughout the year along with other special events," Pierce said. "I hope it will be the kind of place where Jets fans come to gather and talk Jets football with fellow Jets fans."
A grand-opening ribbon-cutting event, with exciting guests and personalities, is being planned for next week. We'll provide more details as we get them.
