The final open practice of the summer — and the second practice for Mark Sanchez as the No. 1 quarterback — is set for today at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center. Don't let the cloudy skies fool you (and hopefully the forecast hasn't fooled us) but the weather should be fine all day for the Jets' last big practice before taking on the Giants at the Meadowlands on Saturday night.

The parking lots open at 10 a.m., the practice begins at 11:50 a.m., and head coach Rex Ryan's news conference streams on newyorkjets.com at about 2 p.m. Jets Shop and Jets Fest are both open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

This brings me to another attraction at today's festivities. At 3 p.m. in our business parking lot, there will be an unveiling of the Jets' new Titans throwback uniforms.

These are the Titans road unis — white jerseys and gold pants with navy and gold trim. They are set to make their game debuts for Game 7 at Oakland on Oct. 25 and for Game 8 against the Dolphins at the Meadowlands on Nov. 1.

The Titan whities, being introduced this season to honor the 50th anniversary of the American Football League with the eight AFL teams' original uniforms, will be premiered in the Jets Fest area of the parking lot. Seven current Jets starters are scheduled to appear in conjunction with the unveiling.
