Hi, Jets fans, Samantha from the Flight Crew here. Monday night's game was great!!! Even though it rained, you guys were out showing your support, not only for the team but for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
I saw a lot of men and women wearing pink — it was overwhelming. The Flight Crew, along with the players, also wore pink. Our new stadium was lit up with pink ribbons. It was amazing! The NFL has contributed so much to BCA and have been great supporters for women fighting breast cancer.
It is so important to show support for this cause. So many women along with family and friends are affected every day.
I have someone very special in my life who has been battling breast cancer, my dance teacher and mentor. She has taught me everything.
Her constant fight and her strength motivates me and everyone around her. She is a survivor, and if I can help spread awareness for her I will.
She is a very important person to me. Her courage is admirable and all of her supporters will continue to "Save the Shimmy!!!"
