Short Biography:
Greg Buttle was selected by the New York Jets in the third round (67th overall) of the 1976 NFL Draft. Over his nine-year NFL career, all with the Jets, he appeared in 110 games (107 starts) recording 15 interceptions, eight fumble recoveries with two returns for touchdowns, and 9.5 sacks. At Penn State University, Buttle earned consensus All-American honors in 1975. He received additional recognition in 2000 when he was honored with the Butkus Silver Anniversary Award, which celebrates the top college linebacker from the 1975 season. After retiring from his playing career, Buttle traded his cleats for a microphone, becoming an on-air analyst for prominent networks such as WCBS, ESPN, and SNY. Today, he serves as a host on the New York Jets Radio Show alongside Dan Graca.
