What do stars Gavin DeGraw, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Dominic Chianese, Brian McKnight and Luther Vandross all have in common? They, among numerous other internationally renowned musicians and celebrities, have performed the National Anthem at New York Jets games.

Now it's your chance to follow in their footsteps and realize your own dreams of becoming a big star.

The New York Jets, in collaboration with Columbia Records and 1050 AM ESPN Radio, will host their first National Anthem Contest at the Meadowlands on Sunday, July 15.

The first 105 contestants to register at the Meadowlands will sing the Star Spangled Banner for a panel of judges. The judges will then choose a select group of finalists and Jets fans will have the opportunity the last week of July to choose the contest winner by voting for their favorite performer on www.newyorkjets.com.

The contest winner will perform the anthem at a game during the 2007 season and will have the opportunity to meet with a Columbia Records talent scout.

Contestants should park in lots 9 or 11 at Giants Stadium at the Meadowlands. Registration opens at 9 a.m. and the first 105 contestants to line up will have the opportunity to participate. Contestants will not be permitted to line up before 8 a.m.
