CHRISTIE: Live Chat, Photo Shoot

Hi, Jets fans!

It is so great to be here in Mexico representing the New York Jets and the NFL. We have had a jam-packed schedule since we arrived on Tuesday but have been having the time our lives here!

Today the Flight Crew visited the Puro Corazon restaurant, where we met with some of the most influential newspapers in Mexico City. This restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Mexico City, right next to the Plaza de la Constitucion, where the President spends most of his days.

While at the restaurant we were interviewed by reporters, posed for photographs and learned about the historical architecture of the city. An interesting fact we learned was that the city is actually sinking! Much like Manhattan, Mexico City operates on top of a body of water. Therefore, if you look closely you will notice some of the buildings are slanted due to the shift in the ground.

Shortly after, the Flight Crew was invited to partake in a live chat with readers on the El Universal newspaper website. This was definitely something new for the Flight Crew as we were asked an array of questions from readers on live television! The viewers were very interested in the personal lives of the Crew cheerleaders.

We answered many questions regarding what we do for fun when we are not cheering, what our future goals are, or what profession we would be in if we were not cheerleading for the New York Jets. We really enjoyed this time to answer questions about ourselves, as well as the football team and our experiences on the Flight Crew.

In the afternoon, we attended a photo shoot with ESPN The Magazine, which was a ton of fun! We look forward to seeing the final product in the February issue of ESPN The Magazine. We are so thrilled to have the opportunity to model for such an established publication and we hope you enjoy the photographs!

As much fun as I am having here in Mexico, I still cannot wait to get back to New York and see all of our wonderful fans at Sunday's game … fingers crossed for a win! Hope you are all doing well and thank you for your continued support!

Love, Christie
