Three sets of statistical trends, records, marks and highlights by the Jets following their 23-10 loss at Baltimore on Sunday:

Breece Still Did Plenty
RB Breece Hall was beating himself up for a spell over his lost fumble midway through the fourth quarter, "I know the type of player I am," Hall said. "I know with the ball in my hands in those situations, those high-stakes, high-pressure situations, I've just got to be better with it."

But Hall was plenty good before that play. He totaled 119 yards from scrimmage, his sixth 100-YFS game this season and 18th of his Jets career, and the centerpiece was his 40-yard catch-and-run from Tyrod Taylor, which he unleashed two games after his 42-yard touchdown plunge vs. Cleveland from Justin Fields.

A fairly long list of Jets RBs have produced at least a pair of receptions of 40 yards or longer in one season. Most recent was 19 years ago, when rookie Leon Washington had two road 40s, both on Chad Pennington passes, in 2006.

Washington is the only other Jets back to do that in the 21st century. But in the 1900s, the list includes Dick Christy (4 catches for the 1961 Titans), Bill Mathis (3, 1966), John Riggins (2, 1972), Bruce Harper (2, 1980), Adrian Murrell (2, 1995) and Richie Anderson (2, 1996).

Hall needs just one more 40-plus catch to reshape the top of that list down to Christy, Mathis and himself as Jets RBs with 3 such receptions in a season. And Breece is already the only back in franchise history to have his noteworthy single-season receptions supplied by different QBs.

More Metchie Magic
John Metchie III, a Jets WR less than a month, has made himself right at home in his green and white with pass-attack contributions the past two games. Against the Ravens, Metchie logged a game career high of 6 receptions for his second-best game yardage of 65 yards and his second TD in two weeks.

Metchie becomes only the 15th Jet since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger to score 2 or more TDs in their first 3 weeks with the team. His second-quarter dive for the pylon was also the third TD catch of his career and the first time he has recorded scores in back-to-back games.

Interesting side note: Metchie's first pro TD came for the Texans last season in Week 10. At Ford Field. That day he had 5 catches for his career high of 74 yards. And it all came against Aaron Glenn's Detroit defense in the Lions' 26-23 comeback win. AG obviously remembers.

Hats Off to Jets' Heady Lamar D
It's true that Ravens QB Lamar Jackson has been banged up this season. But the unwritten NFL rule is if you can suit up and play, you're well enough. And the Jets defense did a nice job of keeping the former league MVP under control. Here are a number of numbers to show how.

Jackson totaled 154 net yards on the day, which includes 153 passing yards, minus-10 sack yards and 11 rush yards. That is the fifth-least amount of yardage for Jackson in his 118 career starts, including playoffs. Heading that list are 2 double-digit-yardage games, in '21 and '22, when he left with first-half injuries, plus a pair of 153-yard games, in '20 and '22.

So against the Jets, Jackson's 154 net yards were his least in his last 3 seasons and his third-least in all of his full-game starts since his 2018 rookie season.

Finally, the Ravens' 241 yards of offense vs. the Jets were their lowest team total with Jackson at QB for their last 76 games dating to 2020.
