The final Saturday of Jets Week has been set aside for song.

The New York Jets will hold open auditions on Saturday, June 13, for a chance to sing the National Anthem at a 2009 regular-season home game. This preliminary round of our National Anthem Contest will be held at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center at One Jets Drive in Florham Park, N.J., from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. There is no pre-registration for this round. Interested participants will register once they arrive.

Contestants will perform a song of their choice in front of a panel of judges composed of members of the Jets organization. Semifinalists will be selected and then will perform the anthem in the hours before the Jets-Rams preseason game on Friday, Aug. 14.

Finalists will then have their performance placed on www.newyorkjets.com, where fans will vote to determine the winner.
