Tim Kemp

Biography

TIM KEMP is entering his eighth season with the New York Jets. In his role, Kemp is responsible for accelerating the Jets brand through fan engagement, audience development and consumer retention.

Kemp oversees the team's multi-faceted marketing strategy for critical consumer touchpoints including gamedays at MetLife Stadium, Draft, Schedule Release, Training Camp, partner activations and original programming emanating its in-house content division, 1JD Entertainment. Kemp also directs fan communication strategies, digital & social advertising and bespoke marketing collaborations – leveraging fan insights to build brand awareness and loyalty.

Additionally, Kemp oversees the Jets' creative team and ongoing visual identity. During his tenure, Kemp has directed signature brand campaigns including the design and launch of team's new uniforms and logos in 2014 & 2019 and the Jets' participation in HBO's Hard Knocks in 2023. These efforts have led to multiple awards from the New York Emmy's, Cynopsis, Sports Business Journal and Hashtag Sports.

Before coming to the Jets, Kemp led marketing, branding and business development strategies for some of the most notable sports and entertainment properties in the world. Kemp spent three years as Vice President of Programming for Barclays Center and prior to that, served as Director of Marketing for Prudential Center and the New Jersey Devils. In these roles, Kemp worked with the NHL, NBA, NCAA, Live Nation, AEG, UFC, MTV, Sports Illustrated and hundreds of other concerts, sporting events and family shows. He also previously held marketing roles at the XL Center in Hartford, CT, the University of Memphis Athletic Department and the Pebble Beach Golf Course in Monterey, CA.

Kemp is a native of Albany, NY and graduated from the University of Connecticut.
