Piazza Headshot 1 - Tight 2

Steven Piazza

Vice President, Information Technology

Biography

STEVEN PIAZZA enters his 27th year with the New York Jets and his first as Vice President of Information Technology. Piazza leads the organization's technology strategy and operations, overseeing IT infrastructure, cloud operations, network services, cybersecurity and end-user technology across the club and its affiliated entities. His teams support daily business and football operations at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, N.J., along with the organization's technology footprint at MetLife Stadium.

Since joining the Jets full time in July 1999, Piazza has helped build and modernize the club's technology environment, rising through the IT organization — most recently as Senior Director of Network Services — before being named Vice President. Over that span he has led the organization's move to cloud-based infrastructure, strengthened its security posture and delivered the network and systems platforms that keep business functions, football operations and gameday running.

Beyond his work with the Jets, Piazza oversees information technology for The Johnson Company and the Betty Wold Johnson Foundation and co-manages IT for MetLife Stadium, aligning technology across multiple organizations with distinct operational and compliance requirements. A graduate of Hofstra University, Piazza and his wife, Lori, have three daughters, Julie, Emily and Jessie.
