Biography

COURTNEY ANDERSON begins her third year as vice president, human resources and administration. Anderson joined the Jets during the 2022 season with broad experience in human resources as well as labor, employment and employee benefits law that she is leveraging on behalf of the organization.

In her current role, she is responsible for all aspects of human resources across the organization and working closely with the stadium on HR-related matters. She also serves as the Jets liaison with the NFL on the execution of all League-wide employee initiatives. She actively participates in the Jets Women's Organization (JWO) to encompass the many women affiliated with the team, including staff members, wives and significant others of coaches, players and football personnel. Anderson also serves on the Workplace Improvement Team (WIT) and the Social Justice Diversity and Inclusion Team (SJDIT). The SJDIT works with players and staff to develop strategies, relationships and programs to best serve the team and its surrounding community.

Anderson joined the Jets after spending 10 years in the automotive industry, most recently serving as vice president, human resources Americas region for the BMW Group, responsible for driving strategic HR activities in support of operations in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Latin America.

Anderson began her career as an attorney, practicing labor and employment law and commercial litigation with Mayer Brown LLP and then as an in-house attorney for BMW Group. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in philosophy, politics and economics, and earned her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Originally from Ohio, Anderson currently resides in Glen Rock with her husband, Andrew, and their three children, Megan, Owen and Aiden.
