Biography
COURTNEY ANDERSON begins her first year as Vice President, Human Resources and Administration. Anderson joins the club with broad experience in human resources as well as labor, employment and employee benefits law that she looks to leverage on behalf of the organization.
In her current role, she is responsible for all aspects of human resources across the organization, in addition to working closely with the stadium on HR-related matters. She also serves as the Jets liaison with the NFL on the execution of all League-wide employee initiatives.
Anderson is joining the Jets after spending 10 years with the BMW Group, most recently serving as vice president, human resources Americas region at BMW Group, responsible for driving strategic HR activities in support of BMW Group's operations in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Latin America. Anderson previously served as the head of human resources for BMW of North America, LLC and BMW Financial Services NA, LLC, handling all operational HR activities for the national sales company, financial services company and related entities.
Anderson began her career with the BMW Group as corporate counsel, where she was responsible for a variety of matters including labor and employment law and employee benefits. Prior to BMW Group, Anderson spent 10 years as an associate with Mayer Brown LLP practicing labor and employment law and commercial litigation.
She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in philosophy, politics and economics, and earned her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Originally from Ohio, Anderson currently resides in Glen Rock with her husband, Andrew, and their three children, Megan, Owen and Aiden.
