Chris Nolan enters his eighth season with the New York Jets as a college scout. For Nolan, 2026 marks his 13th season as a scout in the NFL.

This offseason (2026), Nolan was part of a scouting staff that delivered three first round picks for just the third time in franchise history, with the selections of EDGE David Bailey, tight end Kenyon Sadiq, and wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr.

Prior to joining the Jets, Nolan spent three seasons as a player personnel scout with the Philadelphia Eagles (2016-18), highlighted by a Super Bowl LII victory. Before Philadelphia, Nolan spent one season as a personnel assistant with the Baltimore Ravens (2015) after one year as a seasonal equipment assistant with the Atlanta Falcons (2014). He entered the league as a summer equipment assistant with the Miami Dolphins (2010).

Nolan received a degree in sociology from University of Northern Colorado, where he was the men's lacrosse team captain.
