Jets vs Eagles: Keep Your Eyes On Them
As We Head Into the Last Preseason Game, Here Are a Few Players to Keep Your Eye On.

QB Michael Vick will start tonight's game against Philadelphia, a team he played on for five years. His start appears to be a ceremonial one, as head coach Rex Ryan has said he doesn't expect Vick to play for long. Vick said he's unsure how fans will receive him in his return: "I don't know what's to come. I don't know what's going to happen. I'm just looking forward to going back to Philadelphia and just enjoying that day and helping the young guys…"

Since Geno won't play and Vick figures to get only a couple snaps, we could be seeing a lot of Matt Simms under center. Simms played well last year on the strength of 33-for-44 passing for 285 yards in a 27-20 win.

Speaking of quarterbacks, we could end up seeing some more of Tajh Boyd, a sixth round pick in this year's draft. Boyd has appeared just once this preseason, against Cincinnati, where he was 1-for-5 passing for six yards.Â

Signed off the Eagles practice squad midway through last season WR Greg Salas makes his return to Lincoln Financial Field. He's fighting for a roster spot and tonight is his last opportunity to prove he should be a member of the Green & White.Â

WR/PR Jalen Saunders will see his first game action since Aug. 7 against Indianapolis after missing the last two games after he had a seizure that caused his one-car accident on Aug. 15. He's cleared to play, so expect to see a lot of the fourth-round pick tonight.Â

LB Nick Bellore will see extensive playing time on defense in tonight's game. He's known for his special teams ability, but he loves getting a crack at his position. With Demario Davis and David Harris sitting out, he'll likely get a majority of the snaps.Â

While we're in the secondary, this is the last chance for some of the guys to prove themselves worthy of a spot on the 53-man roster. CB Jeremy Reeves Is one of those guys and is expected to see a lot of playing time. He's had some minor injuries that hindered him during training camp.Â

Lastly, keep an eye on punter Ryan Quigley. He's had a good-week-bad-week trend during the preseason. If the trend continues, he's in for a good night against Philadelphia.Â
