Short Biography:
Victor Green was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 1996. Over his eleven-year NFL career in which he played for the Jets, Patriots, and Saints, he appeared in 168 games, registering 968 tackles, 25 interceptions, 7.0 sacks, 12 forced fumbles, 16 fumble recoveries, and three TDs. He also recorded 65 passes defended. During his rookie year in the 1996 NFL season, Victor led the League in both tackles and solo tackles. Green played college football as a defensive back at University of Akron, where he recorded six interceptions in 11 games during the 1992 season. On the tail end of his playing career with the Jets, Green founded the Victor Green Foundation with the mission to contribute money to 501(c)(3) foundations that support education, health and wellness, and character. After his playing career, he opened a wine label, Playbook Wine Series.
