Biography

JEFF FERNANDEZ enters his 24th season with the New York Jets and his second as senior vice president, business development + ventures, having been promoted to the position prior to the 2025 season. With more than two decades in the organization, Fernandez has played an integral role in shaping the club's corporate partnerships strategy and long-term commercial growth.

In his role, Fernandez is responsible for leading the partnership sales, activation, and business intelligence team that creates strategic corporate alliances, driving revenue for the organization, while also developing new and innovative business projects that enhance Jets fan engagement.

Fernandez has extensive league and industry experience across professional football, motorsports, and multi-team sports organizations. Prior to joining the Jets, he served as director of marketing partnerships for the Buffalo Bills (1999-2001) and with Huizenga Sports & Entertainment Group in Ft. Lauderdale, FL (1995-99), where he sold sponsorships for the Miami Dolphins, Florida Panthers, Florida Marlins, and SportsChannel Florida. He later went on to serve as vice president of marketing partnerships for Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indy 500 (2001-03).

Fernandez earned his bachelor's degree in economics/applied mathematics from Brown University and a master's degree in education and sports administration from the University of Miami. He and his wife, Tracy, have a son, Matt, and a daughter, Ciaran.
