ELAINE CHEN is in her 14th year with the Jets and third as vice president, finance. Previously, she served as senior director, finance for seven years, joining the organization as director, finance in 2010. 

In her current capacity, Chen oversees the accounting department, including both team and stadium operations. Her responsibilities include managing the daily accounting and treasury operations, preparing financial statements, budgets and league reporting, as well as maintaining internal controls, data privacy and PCI Compliance.

Chen is one of the original members of the organization's Work Improvement Team (WIT), responsible for identifying opportunities to improve the culture, experience and productivity of the organization.

Prior to joining the Jets, Chen spent four years as the controller at Blissworld, LLC, a multi-channel spa and retail product company. She also worked as a senior internal auditor at Estee Lauder, a financial analyst for HBO Sports and began her career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Chen is a graduate of NYU Stern School of Business and holds her CPA license from the state of New York. Born in Glen Ridge, NJ, Chen spent the latter part of her childhood in Taipei, Taiwan, where her parents are still located. Chen currently resides in Jersey City with her husband, Larry, and two daughters, Kylie (13) and Ashley (10).
