Biography
DAN ZBOJOVSKY enters his 19th year with the New York Jets and second as senior director, football operations after spending five years as director, personnel operations (2019-23).
In his role, Zbojovsky oversees the Jets football operations departments, working directly with the analytics, personnel operations, and video staffs. He maintains significant roles in both pro and college scouting, assisting in strategic planning and roster management decisions throughout the season, Free Agency, and the Draft. Additionally, he oversees the development of scouting tools and the management of player information acquired throughout the scouting process.
Zbojovsky was part of a scouting staff who drafted both the Offensive and Defensive Rookies of the Year in 2022 (Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner), marking just the third time in NFL history a team has had both in the same year.
He originally joined the organization in 2007 as a seasonal intern in the video department. The following season, Zbojovsky joined the scouting department as an intern in pro personnel, before being hired as a player personnel assistant (2008), working in both the pro and college scouting departments and assisting the football administration department and coaching staff. In his previous role, he was the coordinator, college scouting (2009-18), where he managed the day-to-day operations that led up to the NFL Draft and served in various scouting capacities for both the college and pro personnel departments.
Born in Trenton, NJ, Zbojovsky graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in health and exercise science from The College of New Jersey (2007), where he spent three years as a video coordinator and one season as a student-assistant coach for the football team.
Zbojovsky and his wife, Kelly, reside in Randolph, NJ with their daughter, Avery, and son, Evan.
