You Can Still Walk Up, Sign Up for Flight Crew Auditions

The pre-registration period for auditioning for the 2012 New York Jets Flight Crew Cheerleaders has closed, but that doesn't mean the door has slammed shut on anyone who still wants to take a shot at making the squad.

"If you heard about the auditions late or are just now getting up the nerve to audition, you can register by Walk-Up Registration on the morning of the preliminary round," says Flight Crew director Denise Garvey.

The preliminary round for the auditions will take place on Saturday, April 21, at MetLife Stadium (102 Route 120, East Rutherford, NJ).

If you are still interested in registering for the Flight Crew auditions through Walk-Up Registration, here is what you'll need to do:

■ Come to MetLife Stadium on April 21 in time for the Flight Crew auditions' mandatory 8 a.m. check-in.

■ Bring a photo and $40 walk-up registration fee in the form of cash, check or credit card (Discover not accepted).

■ Photo will not be returned and registration fee is non-refundable.

■ Complete the 2012 application/waiver, which will be available for you to complete at the Walk-Up Registration desk.

■ Upon arrival, join the Walk-Up Registration line for expedited processing.

"It's not too late to register," says Garvey, "which is great news!"
