THE REX BOX: What He Really Said ...

ESPN.com visited Jets camp Saturday, and writer Tim Graham's "Camp Confidential" on the Green & White, posted Saturday afternoon, has a good summation of the state of the team.

However, we'd like to set the record straight on one misquote under the story's "Observation Deck" subhead.

Rex Ryan is quoted from his Saturday news conference about the morning Shaun Ellis-Damien Woody skirmish: "That's one nobody would've broken up. Whoa. Forget that. Just keep fighting until you die. ..."

Rex is not afraid to try out some funny lines with reporters, but he did not suggest that Ellis and Woody would have had to croak before they could be separated. What Ryan said was:

"That's one that nobody would've broken up. Forget that. IIt's more like yeah, just keep fighting until you're tired.' Whoo! No thanks. I'm not gonna get in that one. Those are two big men going at it right there."
