Matt Forte took the podium on Tuesday afternoon with a welcome guest, (little) Matt. The 1-year-old sat comfortably in his father's arms as dad answered questions from the media.
It did not take long for pint-sized Matt to become curious about his surroundings, grabbing at the microphones placed on the stand in front of him. After a couple of duels with dad, he finally gave up on the mics.
However, he wasn't done yet; the toddler managed to get his hands on a voice recorder from NJ.com's Darryl Slater. Darryl was probably hoping for the best audio of the day. But, instead, his recorder quickly became a chew toy.
