Eight Jets are listed as Will Not Play for tonight's second preseason against the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field, including C Nick Mangold and DE Muhammad Wilkerson, who returned last week from the Active/PUP list from his broken leg.

However, a number of other Jets who didn't play in the preseason-opening 17-13 win over Jacksonville are in line to play vs. the 'Skins, possibly including RB Matt Forte for a few plays after returning to team drills from his sore hamstring on Wednesday.

Others who could get their first game action of the summer include CBs Darrelle Revis and Dexter McDougle, DT Steve McLendon, S Ronald Martin, G James Carpenter, WRs Kenbrell Thompkins and Kyle  Williams, LBs Mike Catapano and Trevor Reilly, RB Khiry Robinson and possibly rookie QB Christian Hackenberg.

The Jets signed three running backs this past week and all could make their debuts in green and white: Lache Seastrunk, Antone Smith and rookie Terry Williams.

The Jets' nine players who will not play tonight:

■ RB Romar Morris

■ RB Dominique Williams

■ S Doug Middleton

■ C Nick Mangold

■ TE Wes Saxton

■ DE Muhammad Wilkerson

■ WR Devin Smith (Active/PUP)

■ T Breno Giacomini (Active/PUP)

Green & White captains for this game are S Marcus Gilchrist, RB Bilal Powell, LB Erin Henderson and WR Eric Decker.

The Jets are wearing their white jersey and white pants for the second straight game after opening the preseason in white/white with their win over the Jaguars on Aug. 11.
