Safety Rontez Miles and tight end Neal Sterling have signed their RFA tenders.

Miles, who first joined the Jets in 2013 as an undrafted free agent out of California (PA), played in 13 games last season. The fourth-year veteran led the team with 26 special teams tackles in 2017 and served as Lachlan Edwards' punt protector. The 6'0", 203-pound Miles has racked up 105 tackles, one interception and two forced fumbles in his career.

Sterling signed with the Green & White days before the regular season opener and was released on Oct. 5 before rejoining the team later that month. The Monmouth product played in 11 games last year (one start) and caught six passes for 82 yards. The fourth-year veteran tallied 12 receptions for 110 yards in 19 games for the Jaguars in 2015-16.

The Jets also waived wide receiver Brisly Estime. Estime signed with the team as a 2017 undrafted free agent from Syracuse and landed on injured reserve after he tore his Achilles during OTAs.
