The Emmy-Award winning 1JD Films team is back with a new season of Origins. This year's slate will feature four episodes highlighting Joe Tippmann, Michael Carter II, Olu Fashanu and Will McDonald and their rise to professional football. Shot on location all over the country, Origins takes you to where it all began with the stories of sacrifice and triumph on the road to the NFL.

After losing his mother at a young age, Quincy Williams' road to NFL stardom took many different twists and turns. The brother of superstar defensive lineman, Quinnen Williams, Quincy was never in the spotlight and had to pave his own path. With the brothers now teaming up on a dominant Jets defense, Quincy has become one of the game's fastest rising stars on his way to becoming a first team All Pro.

Jeremy Ruckert grew up in the heart of Long Island with dreams of playing for the New York Jets. Brick by brick, he emerged as the top high school prospect in New York committing to Ohio State and hearing his name called by his hometown team in the NFL Draft.

Undersized and under-recruited, the odds of making it to the NFL were stacked against DJ Reed at a young age. Relying on faith and family, DJ overcame every obstacle on his way to becoming one of the game's best corners.

Growing up in the heart of Texas, Garrett Wilson was one of the fiercest competitors in one of the nation's football hotbeds. The two-sport phenom became one of the top recruits in the country on his way to starring at Ohio State on his way to a top-10 selection in the NFL Draft.

Jermaine Johnson's road to a first round pick took many different turns. He began his college career at Independence Community College where the team was featured on Netflix Last Chance U. After eventually landing at Florida State, Johnson had a meteoric rise before hearing his name called in the NFL Draft.
