Mark Twain once wrote that "rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated." Similarly, the media this week grossly exaggerated the demise of the Jets.
Against one of the best teams in the league, they played a tough, competitive game. Unfortunately, Gang Green (again) made too many costly mistakes, were unable to run the ball effectively and failed to protect Mark Sanchez. Further, Rex Ryan and his coaching staff made a series of mistakes that compounded the Jets' woes.
Read my post late Tuesday morning for a list of these miscues.
