Transcript of interviews with selected Jets players during locker room media availability before Wednesday's midday practice:

DT KRIS JENKINS

On if the only way to get back on track is by winning…

Of course, its no question we have been in little bit of a funk for these past two weeks. We are looking at correcting the problems this week and getting a victory.

On if there is a reason why the Jets haven't played as effectively as they did against New England and Tennessee…

No, I am not at liberty to discuss anything that stays in house. We know what we have to do and we are confident that we know what it is that we've been having some troubles with these past couple of weeks. I think we will get that problem corrected this week.

On RB Marshawn Lynch and the Bills offense…

They are big problems. He is running as good as any running back in the league right now and he is doing some good things. The way he bounces out and gets to the edge, it's a little bit of a difficult thing to watch on film and say, "Oh, you've got to stop that," but they are playing good.

The offensive line is playing solid now. You can see the improvement. They are coming together and with the thrust that they have at the receivers, they are looking as good as any team in our division. We are going to have a big game and we are definitely going to have our hands full, but we will have to find a way.

DE SHAUN ELLIS

On if the Jets have lost any confidence…

No, there is no confidence lost. We know what we are doing wrong. We know how teams are attacking us. We have to get all of that corrected and get ready for this push.

On the division title…

It's a great opportunity for us. It shows a lot of character about how we act, how we operate as men and as a team. I think for us right now, we go out to practice, get all the corrections and improve on the things we have been doing well and improve on things we have been doing wrong and put it all together on Sunday.

On if it's on the team leaders to lead the team…

It's on the leaders. It's on everybody. We are all in here as a team. It takes all 53 guys and for us, right now, it's a matter of focus, a matter of knowing our assignments, a matter of doing your job. Don't try to do too much, play together as a team and get unified.

On what the focus is this week having lost the last two games…

We had to really take a step back making sure we are on top of the little things as far as practice, meetings and walkthroughs. All the key things that really help you build a winning formula for the game is what our focus is this week, making sure we are on top of the little things and then going into the game feeling really good about what we have done throughout the week.

On anything from the last two weeks that will help them down the stretch…

Yes, definitely. As far as offensively, we need to convert on third downs, seeing that we have been one of the best teams as far as sustaining long drives and scoring. But the past couple weeks we really haven't been good on third downs, which is not giving us an opportunity to score points. We have to get back to doing the things that we have been doing well, but it all starts this week in practice.

On playing a division opponent…

Yes, they are a familiar opponent. Buffalo is going through tough stretches, but they are well-coached, have a lot of good players and it's a division opponent. Both teams know each other well. It's going to be a hard-fought game and it's going to be a tough one this week.
