The Jets have activated LB Frankie Luvu to the active roster and placed LB Blake Cashman on injured reserve. The Green & White also added Jamey Mosley to their practice squad.

Luvu was on the Green & White's original 53-man roster and was waived Oct. 14 and was signed to their practice squad the following day. The 6'3", 236-pounder has played in 18 games for the Jets over the past two seasons, totaling 26 tackles and three sacks. The second-year Washington State product first signed with the team last May, began last year on the practice squad and was activated Sept. 8.

Cashman, the team's fifth-round pick in 2019, ranks fourth on the club with 40 tackles, four of which were for loss. The Minnesota product has played in all seven games, starting the last five, and added 0.5 sacks and three quarterback hits on 431 snaps. The 6'1", 237-pounder also played in 64 special teams snaps.

Mosley, the younger brother of Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley, signed with the Green & White as an undrafted free agent in May, spent the summer with the team and suffered a knee injury that kept him out of the preseason. The 6'5", 248-pounder was waived, joined the practice squad Sept. 1 and was removed from the P-squad Oct. 7. Mosley, an Alabama product, played in 31 games for the Crimson Tide and recorded 21 tackles (4.5 for loss), two sacks and two pass defenses.
