The Jets signed CB Robert Nelson to the practice squad and released WR-KR Kalif Raymond from the P-Squad.

Nelson, a University of Louisiana-Monroe product, appeared in 11 games last season for the Texans and recorded 20 tackles, two passes defensed and an interception. Originally an undrafted free agent in 2014, the 5'9", 175-pounder signed with the Browns and played in seven games his rookie season before he joined the Cardinals in 2015.

The Green & White acquired Raymond on waivers Sep. 3 and he served as the team's primary returner Weeks 1-2. The 5'9", 160-pounder, who averaged 28.3 yards per kick and 7.6 yards per punt returns, respectively, was waived Sep. 19 and signed to the Jets' practice squad two days later.
