The New York Jets begin their 2013 NFL season when they arrive at SUNY Cortland on Thursday, July 25, to open their fourth training camp under head coach Rex Ryan. The Jets 2013 Training Camp is presented by Atlantic Health, EMC/SAP, JetBlue, MetLife, SNY, and Toyota.
Players will take the field for the first time on Friday, July 26, at 10 a.m. ET in the first practice open to the public. After Cortland training camp breaks, fans are invited to watch the training camp practice at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, N.J., on Wednesday, Aug. 21.
At each training camp location fans will experience the excitement of competition with a close view of practice. Fans can also gear up with their favorite 2013 merchandise at the Jets Shop tent and enjoy Jets Fest, an interactive theme park with skill challenges and inflatable rides.
Following each practice, Jets players will sign autographs for the fans along the sideline. Available players will sign autographs if weather, time and other circumstances permit. However, please note that autographs are not guaranteed. In addition, Gen Jets Kids Club members will have a kids-only player autograph area at all practices. Space is limited to the first 100 kids each day, so fans are encouraged to check in their children upon arrival.Â
Admission to all training camp activities is free, but tickets are required. Fans can register and print tickets in the coming weeks on ***newyorkjets.com/camp***. The entrance to SUNY Cortland is located on Stratton Drive off of Route 281. Parking attendants will greet fans at the entrance and direct them to the camp parking area. Cortland parking costs $5 per day.
For practices in Florham Park, free offsite parking is available across from the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center. The lot is within walking distance of the facility and shuttle service is also available. The parking lot can be accessed from Park Avenue. Once on Park Avenue, fans will be asked to follow the posted signs.
The Jets invite all fans to attend open practices. Please note, however, that practice may be canceled or closed to the public in the event of inclement weather. Fans are encouraged to call the team's fan line at (973) 549-4844 or visit newyorkjets.comfor the most up-to-date news regarding practice schedules. Updates are also available on Twitter (@nyjets) and Facebook (Facebook.com/Jets).
All attendees will be subject to security procedures upon entry, including screening and bag searches.
