HEADS UP FOOTBALL

Heads Up Football is a comprehensive program developed by USA Football to advance player safety in the game of football. The Jets currently provide funding to certify coaches from the Public Schools Athletic League, Section VIII and XI Long Island High Schools and the Catholic High School Athletic Association.

Education components included in Heads Up Football certification are:

- Concussion Recognition & Response

- Heat Preparedness & Hydration

- Sudden Cardiac Arrest

- Proper Equipment Fitting

- Heads Up Tackling®

- Heads Up Blocking®
