The Jets have placed running back Khiry Robinson on Injured Reserve. They have also signed RB Brandon Burks from the practice squad to the active roster and have signed TE M.J. McFarland to the practice squad.

Robinson (6'0", 220), who was the Jets' first signing of the unrestricted free agency period in March, spent his first three pro seasons with New Orleans. He rehabbed a broken leg during the offseason, played in the Jets' preseason finale vs. Philadelphia, reinjured the leg, and was waived/injured Sept. 4.

He re-signed with the Jets on Dec. 7 and saw his first game action in green and white against the Patriots on Sunday, rushing for 22 yards on eight carries, but suffered another reinjury.

Burks (5'9", 208) was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Troy by Green Bay after this year's draft. He was a final cut by the Packers in September, then returned to the Pack on their practice squad for nine days in November before being released, then signed by the Jets. He was signed to the Jets practice squad Dec. 14.

McFarland (6'5", 253), born in Watertown, NY, was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Texas-El Paso by Philadelphia after this year's draft. Before UTEP, he spent his first three college seasons at the University of Texas. He was waived/injured in September.
