Jets to Host Anti-Bullying Awareness Day Nov. 27

The Team Will Donate $35,000 to Prevent Bullying in the Tri-State Area

The Jets and STOMP Out Bullying will host their second Anti-Bullying Awareness Day on November 27, 2016, at MetLife Stadium when the Jets take on the New England Patriots. This event is designed to tackle bullying by increasing awareness of all forms of bullying, promoting STOMP Out Bullying's mission of reducing and preventing bullying, and most importantly, providing resources to those who need help.

Anti-Bullying Awareness Day will include a $35,000 donation and check presentation to STOMP Out Bullying. Additionally, the team will donate $1, up to $10,000, when fans use #JetsTackleBullying on Twitter and Instagram between now and Sunday.

Other Anti-Bullying Awareness day items include debuting the team's new public service announcement featuring Jets players in STOMP Out Bullying's "No Matter" Campaign on video boards throughout the stadium, hosting 100 students, teachers and staff from Memorial Junior School in Whippany, NJ, to honor their commitment to anti-bullying at their school and continuing the season-long Upstander of the Week program by featuring a student in stadium that has helped someone who was being bullied.

Fans will be encouraged to go www.stompoutbullying.org for help if they are or know someone who is victim of bullying.
