Jets Waive WR Jeremy Kerley

Veteran Wideout Had 22 Catches in Eight Games

The Jets waived wide receiver Jeremy Kerley.

Kerley signed with the Jets Sep. 5 and tallied 217 yards and one touchdown on 22 catches. The 5'9", 188-pounder also returned 16 punts and averaged 5.3 yards per return. He played in eight games this season before he was suspended for four games Nov. 6. Kerley has totaled 268 receptions for 3,109 yards and 13 touchdowns in his seven-year career.
