The Jets have waived DL Kenny Anunike, RB Brandon Burks, WR Darius Jennings, LS Josh Latham, LB Jeff Luc and DL Julien Obioha.

Both Anunike and Jennings signed to the Jets' practice squad in December and later inked reserve/future deals with the club in January. The 6'5", 257-pound Anunike was an undrafted free agent out of Duke who signed with Denver after the 2014 NFL Draft and appeared in five games with the Broncos in 2015.  Jennings, a 5'10", 169-pound Virginia product, signed with Cleveland after the 2015 draft and spent some time on the Chicago practice squad in 2016.

After joining the Jets' practice squad in December, the 5'9", 208-pound Burks was active for the team's season finale against the Bills and carried twice. Luc spent time with New Orleans and Cincinnati the past two years before agreeing to a reserve/future contract in January.

The 6'4", 280-pound Obioha, a Texas A&M product who originally signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2016, spent last season on injured reserve. Latham, who long-snapped at Sacramento State for three seasons, signed with Green & White on Feb. 7.
