The Jets announced two practice squad transactions Tuesday as the club signed S Ronald Martin and terminated the contract of FB Julian Howsare.

Martin returns to the practice squad after being released on Sep. 29, 2016. Acquired off waivers from Seattle in 2015, the undrafted free agent played eight games with the Green & White last season. Martin appeared in the last three preseason games this summer, was waived Sept.  4 and then was signed to the practice squad two days later.

Howsare appeared in the Jets' first two games this season before being added to the practice squad.  Originally an undrafted free agent following the 2015 draft as a linebacker from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, Howsare converted to FB and spent 12 weeks on the Jets' practice squad.
