The Jets brought in unrestricted free agent Mychal Rivera for a visit to the Atlantic Health Training Center Monday.

Originally a sixth-round pick of the Raiders in 2013, Rivera has been productive for Oakland in his five-year career. The Tennessee product has registered 146 receptions for 1,413 yards and 10 touchdowns in 61 games (15 starts).

The 6'3", 245-pound Rivera became the second tight end in Volunteers history to finish with over 1,000 yards for his career (Reggie Harper). In three seasons in Knoxville, he recorded 76 catches for 1,018 yards and six touchdowns, earning first-team All-SEC honors in 2012.
