The Jets announced Saturday that RT Breno Giacomini has been activated off the Physically Unable to Perform List. In order to make room for Giacomini, the club waived WR Jeremy Butler.

Giacomini, the Jets' starting right tackle for all 32 games the previous two seasons, was on the Reserve/PUP list for the first seven games of regular season with a back injury.  The 6'7", 318-pound Giacomini, a Louisville product who has made 65 career starts and appeared in 73 contests, has practiced the last two weeks with the Green & White.

Acquired off waivers from Tampa Bay on Oct. 11, the 6'2", 213-pound Butler totaled 363 yards on 31 receptions last season with the Ravens.
