Get to Know: Zach Sudfeld
Taking a Closer Look at the Man Rex Ryan Calls 'Sasquatch'

Sudfeld was signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Nevada in 2013 and was claimed off waivers on Oct. 4, 2013 by the Jets.

He's seen the "intense" Jets-Patriots rivalry from both sides and is looking forward to continuing his role with the Green & White: "I'm so happy to be with the Jets, but they want to play us just as bad as we want to play them. It's going to be fun."

During the offseason, he switched his number from 82 to 44.

Sudfeld's favorite movie is "The Shawshank Redemption."

Sudfeld received his MBA from Nevada during his fifth-year of eligibility in case a career in football didn't work out for him.

Music is his second passion. Sudfeld plays the acoustic guitar and "dabbles" in the ukulele, which he brought to training camp.

He and his twin brother, Matt, often joke about playing in a band in his home state of California after his football career.

During pre-game warmups, Sudfeld likes "to keep it chill" by listening to Jack Johnson or Mumford and Sons.

He's driven the same 1997 Ford F-150 since he was 16. He nicknamed his car "Old Blue."

Otter Pops, the flavored ice snack, are his guilty pleasure.
