Meet Veteran QB and Newly Acquired Jet Ryan Fitzpatrick

Fitzpatrick was a seventh-round draft pick (250th overall) by the St. Louis Rams out of Harvard in 2005.

Fitzpatrick played for the Rams and Bengals before signing with the Buffalo Bills prior to his fifth NFL season.


Fitzpatrick started eight games in his first year in Buffalo before taking over starting duties for the Bills the next three seasons.


While in Buffalo, Fitzpatrick played three years for then-head coach and current Jets offensive coordinator Chan Gailey

Fitzpatrick threw for 71 TDs and over 10,000 yds in his three years as a starter under Gailey in Buffalo before signing with the Titans in 2013.


Fitzpatrick started nine games in Tennessee before joining the Texans last season.

Fitzpatrick threw for 17 touchdowns and eight INTs over 12 starts in his lone season in Houston.
